Aka, Jo aka Bboy j One aka Jobi One Kenobi

Discovering hip hop culture in 2000, Jo began immersing himself in the culture right away and from all 4 elements. Gravitating towards the dance element most.

In 2006 Jo began helping out at events and jams, learning about event organising and meeting more people and learning about the history of our culture and community. In 2009 he produced an event that would greatly define his entirely life for the next 10 years ... Destructive Steps.

For 2005 - 2013 he helped cement the crew 143 Liverpool Street Familia of which he is still part of and thankful for.

Jo has taught workshops for many years on event management, dance and production, mentoring a handful of great students and given advice to many more. Jo is honoured to have given back in some small way to the community and culture that has given him so much and allowed him to discover something we all seek and few find, identity.
