The QMS 2023 WDSF Oceania Breaking ChampionshiPS


Breaking, one of the four elements of Hip Hop born in the boroughs of New York in the 1970s. A cultural movement set to debut as the most highly anticipated new sport in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The QMS 2023 WDSF Oceania Breaking Championships (OBC) is set to take place in Sydney, Australia!

This event is an Olympic qualifying event. The winners of the solo Bgirl and solo Bboy disciplines will earn a spot into the Top16 of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Places 2nd-4th in each discipline will earn a spot to compete in the Olympic Qualifier Series, consisting of 3 events in 3 different countries throughout March-June 2024.

OBC SCHEDULE

October 27th, 2023 (Day 1)
Doors open at 11:30am
12:00 - 15:30 = Bgirl + Bboy Pre-Selection rounds + Top 16 Bboy battles
Watch breakers from all over Oceania compete for a spot in the Top 8. 

October 28th, 2023 (Day 2)
Doors open at 11:30am
12:00 - 15:00 = Bgirl & Bboy Top8 - Finals

Watch the Top 8 of the best in Oceania clash in head-to-head battles to see who will be crowned the Oceania Champions and earn a spot to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as Breaking Olympians.
